Russia Forecasts Slowdown in Crude Output Growth

Russia's annual crude oil output is expected to grow by almost 2% in 2016 thanks to rising output from newly launched fields. But production growth is seen slowing in the coming years amid question marks over a potential Opec agreement to curb output, as well as uncertainties over future growth and investment. Weak domestic demand is expected to keep a lid on gas output this year.
