Esmark, Loeffel joint venture targets Midwest

Esmark Inc. and Loeffel Steel Group have entered into a joint venture aimed at better serving their respective customer bases across the Midwest.The agreement, which will see Esmark broker product for the family owned distributor, was "a good step in light of the tough conditions in the service center side right now," an Esmark spokesman told AMM, referring to sagging steel prices in a market awash in foreign steel.
