Houston—No bids, offers or trades were reported in the US over-thecounter thermal coal market on Oct. 14, but export market interest continued for Northern Appalachian coal. A broker said there was still buying and selling interest for 6,900 kcal/kg NAPP coal for loading in the second half of November. The last NAPP export trade reported to S&P Global Platts was on Sept. 24, when one 75,000 mt ship with an October loading date sold for $81/mt CIF East Coast India, with estimated freight around $27/mt.
