Little interest was reported in the US over-the-counter thermal coal market June 9. While some selling interest was still heard for Powder River Basin coal, there were no reports of interested buyers. In the PRB 8,800 Btu/lb market, only indications of $11.90/st and $12.15/st were reported. S&P Global Platts assessed the PRB 8,800 Btu/lb market at $12.05/st for July delivery, flat from the previous day.
