Coventya makes frst two bolt- on acquisitions in Turkey

Coventya (Villeneuve-la-Garenne, France), backed by private equity frm Silverfeet Capital (London, United Kingdom), has completed its frst two bolt-on acquisitions since Silverfeet invested in May 2016. The two acquired companies are based in Turkey, Coventya says. The aggregate deal size will be about ?18 million ($19 million). Coventya is a specialty chemicals group focused on surface treatment for the automotive, construction, luxury and consumer goods, data storage, and oil and gas industries. In the frst and larger of the two transactions, Coventya acquired an 80.6% interest in Istanbul-listed Politeknik Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret (Istanbul, Turkey), a manufactur- er of aluminium surface treatment (AST) chemicals and engineering services for the required application equipment with annual revenue of more than ?9 million.
