Lanxess reports EBITDA pre-exceptionals of ?183 million ($195 million) in fourth-quarter 2016 compared with ?151 million in the year-ago quar- ter, an increase of 21.2% year over year (YOY). Sales grew 6.0% YOY in the latest quarter, to ?1.9 billion. The EBITDA margin pre-exceptionals rose from 8.4% in the fourth quarter of 2015 to 9.6% in the correspond- ing period of 2016. The planned acquisition of Chemtura continues to progress on schedule, according to Lanxess.
