Clariant said on Monday that SABIC has received the fnal out- standing regulatory approvals from competition authorities for the purchase of a 24.99% stake in Clariant. Closing of the purchase will take place in the next few days, making SABIC Clariant's largest shareholder, and second anchor shareholder besides the former shareholders of Süd-Chemie, which Clariant acquired in 2011. Former Süd-Chemie shareholders hold 13.96% stake in Clariant.
