Dow says it has ended force majeure on vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and VAM-based emulsions in North America, and that the company has implemented sales control. Force majeure will continue for VAM in the Latin America, Europe/Middle East/Africa/India, and Asia Pacific regions. Dow made the initial declaration on 17 May, attributing the situation to an interruption in raw material supply.
