N. America chemical rail down 0.3% YOY

During the week ended 6 July, chemical railcar trafc in North America increased 0.3% year over year (YOY) as a gain in Canada ofset declines in the US and Mexico. Volume totaled 43,150 carloads, down 7.9% from the previous week, according to data released on 10 July by the Association of American Railroads (AAR). For the year to date, chemical railcar trafc in North America is up 0.4%.
