The week under review saw prices of chemicals like isopropyl alcohol, cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, DMF and EDC ruling higher as compared to the previous week, while acetic acid, butyl cellosolve and vinyl acetate moved down. Toluene (RIL) was quoted at Rs. 49.50 (basic) in bulk. Toluene (BPCL) was at Rs. 51.50 (basic) in bulk, while for barrels it was available at Rs. 77 (basic). Benzene (RIL) was quoted at Rs. 56.50 (basic), while BPCL's benzene was steady at Rs. 60.50.
