OUTAGE: GACL shuts down Dahej complex due heavy rain

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd.(GACL)has shut down of all its plants at its Dahej complex except the anhydrous aluminium chloride(AAC)plant.The company said it has taken the decision as a precautionary measure,due the heavy rains in a short duration of time and water logging in the entire Dahej complex.”Plants were stopped in safe manner with all due precautions.Dewatering measures are being taken.As per the situation,the restoration of plant operations would take some time,”it added.
