Dog shooting days in WSPA's sights

The very word husky conjures up images of sled dogs mushing across the snow and tundra of Canada's north. WSPA's Pat Tohill describes how, even in one of the most remote parts of the planet, WSPA's global campaign against cruelty towards man's best friends continues. In many areas of northern Canada, dog-shooting days are routinely held as a way of keeping dog numbers down and to allay concerns over free roaming dogs forming packs and becoming aggressive towards people.
