摘要

A procedure for assessing even harmonics of the current in the control circuit of a controllable reactor is presented, which takes into account the realistic resistance of the control circuit. The halfperiod saturation conditions of the reactor were analysed under assumption that the circuit is quasi-linear. The current harmonics are assessed using the equivalent current source method An example of calculating the second harmonic of the control current for a 780 kVA test prototype reactor is given.
