摘要

The effect of preliminary heat treatment (PHT) of hydrated cellulose fibers impregnated with a boric acid on the composition and structure of nitrided products is studied. Upon subsequent nitriding the PHT in an atmosphere of helium led to the formation of carbon fibers with a coating of boron nitride and PHT in air resulted in a powder of hexagonal and rhombohedral boron nitride. The data obtained in this work are compared with those reported in a previous communication.
