摘要

Method of solution of the problem for determination of the temperature field in a massive product in electric arc surfacing taking into account the motion of a molten metal in the weld pool under the action of the Lorentz forces is suggested. Itis shown that when the sizes of the weld pool are calculated without the taking into account of a convection of the molten metal the error can amount to 50%. When the convection caused in arc surfacing by the electromagnetic forces of Lorentz is takeninto account, its calculated profile corresponds greatly to an experimental profile and the error in calculation of the pool sizes in any section does not exceed 5%.
