Materials and technology for welding high-silicon stainless steels

摘要

Peculiarities of welding of 02KH8N22S6 austenite corrosion-resistant steel were considered. It was shown, that low indices of physico-mechanical properties and tendency of welded joints to intercrystalline corrosion are caused by formation ofeutectic phases in welds and intergrain precipitation (excessive) phases in HAZ metal. Mentioned disadvantages are eliminated due to changes of composition of welding wire, additional introduction of niobium into steel and use of special procedures ofwelding, providing accelerated cooling of metal in HAZ.
