摘要

In THA (Total Hip Arthroplasty), it is important that stem (the femur side implant) fits cavum medullare of femur. In this paper, the technique of installing a stem in cavum medullare of femur automatically on the artificial hip joint operation plan system is proposed. Experience and knowledge of the medical specialist well versed in the operation plan system are caught objective, and it describes as geometric restrictions conditions. Based on the 3-dimensional form of a femur and a stem, optical size, position, and angle of the stem for cavum medullre of femur of patient each are automatically determined from restrictions conditions. The proposal technique is implemented and it applies to an actual case. The result is examined as compared with a medical specialist's operation plan.
