Generating Photo Image Based Virtual Actor For Interactive Movie

The story media that the users can experience the story interactively is considered to play an important role in future entertainment. As one of such the story media, there is the interactive movie system that the users can experience the story of movie with virtual actors. In such a system, it is necessary for the virtual actors to have then- appearance and the motion, and suitable interaction with the users. However, in present condition the creators are making them from their thinking or experience. Therefore, this paper shows the technique of generating a virtual actor's appearance and motion based on photo images. Moreover, this paper shows the framework for suitable for the conversation with the virtual actors by generating their gesture and face expression automatically.
