Investigation of triboengineering characteristics of lubricants modified with sulfured tar

摘要

A possibility is demonstrated that sulfured tar of vegetable oils and industrial fats can be an effective anticorrosive and antis coring additive in lubricants. Some aspects of the mechanism of action of sulfur containing compounds in the processes of modification of separating layers on the friction surface creating their high triboengineering characteristics are analyzed.
