Characterization of the polymorphism of metallothionein by CZE with diode-array detection [French]

Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) with UV detection using a photodiode array (PDA) is shown to be an attractive technique for the characterization of the polymorphism of metallothionein. The PDA allows the assignment of a peak to an isoform complexing a metal, and the evaluation of the degree of complexation. Analytical parameters affect iso- and sub-isoforms in a different way indicating thus their different physicochemical characteristics. [References: 15]
