Reconstruction of oil refinery information management system

摘要

Today the refinery needs to control the whole production bases spread in the wide areas, and job handling time in business is getting required to reduce. The refinery, which has operated its system with general-purpose computer, is under consideration of the replacement of information management systems in the manufacture departments. Recently, we have reconstructed the major-petroleum companies' systems on the bases of the client/ server systems in a short period, and made them easier-to-use than before. Throughout this experience based on the adoption of a new architecture, we got many considerable results and new viewpoints for our system technology. This paper reports mainly the system integration which uses the assemblies of software parts.
