The CO_2/H_2O Reforming Technology for Natural Gas Utilization

The CO_2/H_2O reforming is one of the effective technologies for the natural gas utilization. It can directly generate the stoichiometrically balanced synthesis gases that have excess of neither H_2 nor CO as the feed gases of methanol, dimethylether, FT synthesis and so on. In this paper, the reaction basis, the design of catalysts with high resistance to carbon deposition, the present status and the prospects of this technology are reviewed.
