On-the-go consumers can brave this summer's inevitable heat waves with a host of new canned-beverage packages. Craft brewers, water bottlers, and vintners are all taking to aluminum can packaging for the convenience and sustainable features it provides. New Belgium Brewing Company, Colorado's largest craft brewer and the nation's ninth-largest overall, has begun selling its flagship beer, Fat Tire, in aluminum cans. New Belgium began distributing the popular brew in the new package in June, just in time for concerts, camping, and other outdoor activities associated with summer.
