摘要

Frost resistance of high strength/high fluidity concrete was investigated by conducting freezing and thawing tests on specimens with different pre-test curing conditions, outdoor exposure tests for 7 to 12 years, and freezing and thawing tests on specimens after outdoor exposure using 43 mixtures. The effect of initial curing conditions on the frost resistance was found to be greater with high strength/high fluidity concrete than with normal strength concrete. High strength/high fluidity concrete also exhibited significant losses in frost resistance after outdoor exposure. Autogenous shrinkage and drying shrinkage of high strength/high fluidity concrete having a low water-binder ratio are considered to cause fine cracks during exposure, adversely affecting its frost resistance.
