摘要

The disturbance of water and temperature regimes of maize plants lead to the depression of the cell growth in leaves intercalar meristems with predominant inhibition of its proliferative component, while high temperature disturbed the replicative and postreplicative processes. The increase of water deficit caused the decrease of the number of mitoses in the population of the meristem cells.
