ERI to start 5M dollars e-cycling plant at ex-Alcoa site in NC

Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) will start a 5-million dollars recycling facility at a former Alcoa Inc. smelting site in North Carolina, the company said this week. The Fresno, Calif.-based electronic waste recycler will begin operations in July this year in a temporary facility at Badin Business Park in Stanly County. It will move to a permanent 165,000-square-foot facility in January 2010.
