Modifications of long-term field stationary experiments and their importance for scientific agronomy and practical farming

Different modifications of the most known West-European long-term field experiments and of the Experiment conducted in Timiryazev agricultural Academy in 1912 are analysed in the article. The importance of monoculture in long-term experiments and techniques of its conservation are shown.
