New data on distribution of Chionoecetes bairdi (Crustacea, Decapoda, Majidae) with some notes on its morphological variability [Russian]

The range of the Tanner crab Chionoecetes bairdi Rathbun 1902 in the Sea of Okhotsk extends to 59 degrees 50'N. The intraspecific variability of Tanner crab and snow crab (C. opilio Fabricius 1788) and their distinguishing features were considered. The most important distinguishing characters are the carapace shape and spines' size and shape on the carapace. The shape of epistome ridge varies, therefore, this character is useful, but not diagnostic one for identifying the species.
