Computer-assisted language learning system using speech recognition technologies

摘要

Recently, Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Systems have been studied owing to language globalization and e-learning requirement. In this viewpoint, we have been developed a CALL system using speech information technologies. This paper introduces two learning systems. One is a system which has three functions (segmentation, phrasing and pronunciation evaluation) based on speech recognition technologies to improve speaking ability. The other is a system which has an automatic evaluation function using DP matching to improve listening ability.
