Potential oversupply of magnesium isn't a major concern even as a number of countries, in addition to China, are expected to begin producing the metal, market participants said at an industry conference. "There's potential new non-Chinese production in (South) Korea, Australia, Canada and the Middle East," Alan Clark, a director at Melbourne, Australia-based consulting firm Clark & Mar-ron Pty Ltd., said Monday at the International Magnesium Association's 69th Annual World Magnesium Conference in San Francisco.
