A rare spot sale of charge chrome in the domestic market reportedly concluded in the low $l-per-pound range has sparked some fears that contract numbers could be pushed lower. "The problem on charge chrome is that there is practically no spot business at all," one trader said of the sale, reportedly for about 300 tonnes. "If you have some material and need to sell, you could have a weaker company going for this in an effort to move material."
