摘要

As diffraction refers to redistribution in space of the acoustic intensity that is generated by the presence of an object that causes variations of either the amplitude or phase of the acoustic waves, the acoustic intensity method is effective in estimating the acoustic characteristics of a sound barrier. In generaly, the barrier is wide and high. We measure the acoustic intensity by a scale model of the barrier. Size of an aluminum plate used as the barrier is 125(H)×250(W)×0.1(D)[cm]. Measurement is performed in an ordinary room. Acoustic intensity is measured at both sides of the plate. This method offers visually perceptible advantages in the measured acoustic field.
