摘要

It is necessary to confirm that the concentration of LNG spill will not he higher than the value of critical flammable concentration at the boundary of a storage facility, when the evaluation of loss prevention in the storage facility of LNG is performed. In the present paper, we explain the outline of diffusion calculation and a wind tunnel experiment which we have conducted in the past years, and introduce our developed new technique of wind tunnel experiments and a numerical calculation method derived from U.S.A.. The results of experiments and calculations were compared with each other and were found to be in good agreement. We confirmed the quantitative effect of mitigating concentration by water curtain and Hi-expansion form with model experiments.
