The muscovite and lepidolite spheralites are well-known in Russian mineralogy by the name of 《bar-bot's eye》 (Zavaritsky, 1939). Barbot's eyes are formed in various conditions: metasomatically, by re-crystallization with enlargement of grains, and/or by crystallization in open cavities. There are two types of spheralites: simple spherocrystals, formed only by the axial-symmetrical relatively [001] splitting and tripled spherocrystals consisted of numerous generations of conical subindividuals polysynthetically tripled after the mica law. A model of those tripled spherocrystals is proposed.
