摘要

In this paper an initial acquisition system for hi-orthogonal modulation systems is proposed. The initial acquisition system utilizes the differential detector. Bi-orthogonal sequences discussed in this paper have a property that they generate a particular signal when they are differentially detected. Therefore, the receiver can extract the frame timing information by differential detection. In this paper, the initial acquisition time considering the probability of false alarm is evaluated. As the result, the detection system with high threshold level prevents the occupancy of the false alarm and contributes the quick initial acquisition. Especially, it works effectively when the penalty time caused by false alarm is large.
