Stimuli for sound localization test - in case of loudspeaker listening

Recently, sound localization has been studied by many researchers. Sound localization tests are important to assess this technology but no well-founded test has been established. The purpose of our investigation is to establish such a test. This paper focuses on the loudspeaker system and discusses the sense of localization possible by manipulating duration time and repetition. It is clarified that localization strengthens with the repetition number and the duration time for periods from 0.01s to 0.3s; periods over 0.3s yield no further improvement in localization.
