WITH countless different approaches taken to design and construction of shade infrastructure across the Australian feedlot industry over during the past 15 years, there was no shortage of options open to Mort & Co when the company was developing its new Grassdale feedlot during 2007. Shade infrastructure typically costs anywhere from 50 dollar to 100/head dollar depending on its design features, performance, durability ease of management and other characteristics, so there were a lot of variables toconsider during construction of the new 35,000 head feedlot between Cecil Plains and Dalby.
