摘要

One of the themes discussed at Dubbo feeder cattle supplier information day was the opportunity to apply the Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) vaccination protocol much earlier in the pre-delivery phase, in order to extend the impact of protection back to property of origin. Leading cattle vet Dr Tony Batterham, from Quirindi Vet Services, said respiratory disease illness tended to be amplified in the more intensive feedlot environment, but could still have a significant productivity impact on-farm.
