Reflector for compact, energy-efficient lighting fixtures

Highly efficient reflectors are needed to boost the energy efficiency of lighting fixtures, while the trend toward smaller fixture sizes requires that reflectors sustain high temperatures. This report describes development of a reflector whichprovides both high efficiency and high thermal tolerance by utilizing silver deposition and a deposition treatment that intensifies reflection.
