摘要

Sea water intrusion in Red River Delta (RRD) has been affecting rice production as to shift intake gate upstream from estuaries (Nguyen et al., 2017) and/or to change from rice farming to aquaculture. Increasing salinity concentration of agriculturalirrigation water has potential negative impacts on rice production, but it may not be so in aquaculture. This research aimed to compare economic efficiency of rice production with aquaculture production and to estimate the impact of irrigation salinity in the coastal area in RRD.
