摘要

In the presence of T. urticae on cucumber plants, an accelerated increase in T. tabaci numbers was observed, apparently caused by an increase in fertility. The age structure of the thrips population also changed, the proportion of larvae increasing.On a cucumber cultivar resistant to both pests, the presence of the mite "switched off" the resistance to the thrips.
