The modeling of agropedogenesis in plowed soils on mantle loams

An analysis of agro-pedogenesis on the basis of the elementary soil areal theory and synergetics is proposed. This methodology was tested on virgin and cultivated dernopodzolic soils on mantle loams in the Moscow region of Russia. The values of parameters characterizing the attractors and metastable phases in the development of lessivage and humification-dehumification processes are established. These values serve as the basis for distinguishing the ideal models (archetypes) of quasi-stationary agro-pedogenesis in the described soils. The prospects for application of this approach to solving different pedological problems are outlined.
