At first glance the films Untouchable? and Kids + Money havelittle in common. Yet it does not take long before importantconnections emerge. Both films illustrate an articulation ofclass, each in its own distinct cultural context. Each filmsuccessfully conveys the importance of class in social strati-fication and the implication of that stratification on identity.Although the approach and production style of each film isradically different, both films still manage to address, andsubsequently critique, the inequality of class.
