Optical delay line for a control system of phased array antennas

Application of a mirror optical light guide is considered as a controlled delay line of optical signals. The analytical expressions are given, allowing one to estimate achievable characteristics and to define design data of the offered optical delay line. It is shown that, at small dimensions and simplicity of a design, delay of a light signal more than 10{sup}(-8) s may be provided.
