摘要

The development of titanium alloys has made automobiles and motorcycles highly efficient for the last several years. The cost of the titanium parts will be a key whether the application of titanium alloy expands greatly or not in the near future. Now, the cost of titanium is still expensive. Therefore, adopting the titanium parts for the mass production cars and motorcycles is difficult. A severe worldwide restriction extends not only to automobiles but also to motorcycles in recent years, and the demands of low emmition technology and the low fuel cost technology has risen in the field of the automobiles because of the environmental problems. In this paper, the adoption cases of titanium parts for the motorcycles and the automobiles in the Honda Motors which will hopefully solve the problems are introduced.
