Setting up the transparency for a perfectly conducting cylinder with the help of a passive load by cavities

A number of two-dimensional problems concerning the plane-wave scattering by a perfectly conducting cylinder with a passive load by cavities is considered in order to study the possibility to attain the transparency of such structures. It is shown that, for a definite configuration, arrangement, and parameters of the cavities, the cylinder becomes approximately transparent in certain narrow ranges of frequencies and angles of incidence.
