Signal detection on precursor of earthquake using normal value for ELF electromagnetic wave observation

It is well known that the electromagnetic wave observation radiated from the earth's crust is useful for predicting the great earthquake. We have proposed the signal detection method using normal value since the observed data has a seasonal trend from Extremely low frequency (ELF) band of 223Hz observation. In this paper, we propose a new method of signal detection on precursor of earthquake using standard deviation.
