摘要

High frequency responses of intrinsic Josephson junctions (IJJs) up to 2.5 THz are reported and discussed in this paper. With a newly developed double-side fabrication process, from inside a high Tc superconducting Bisrcacuo-2212 single crystal, an array of intrinsic Josephson junctions was singled out with a bow-tie antenna integrated to it. Very sensitive to irradiation at 1.6 THz and 2.5 THz showing clearly Shapiro steps, the array was proved to be very promising for electronic applications at terahertz waveband in the sense that the junction number in it was controllable, the junctions were homogeneous, the distribution of applied irradiation among the junctions was even, and the junctions could synchronously respond to the high frequency irradiation.
