Paralleled DC/DC converters using nonlinear switching

摘要

This paper introduces interleaved buck converters using a switching rule based on winner-take-all nonlinearity. The switching rule can realize flexible phase control and the system can generate various interesting synchronous phenomena. Introducing a simple piecewise constant model, we show parameters conditions for existence and stability of the phenomena. The switching rule is effective to realize efficient current sharing and ripple reduction.
