摘要

Until now, diode and thyristor rectifiers have been widely used in DV100V output power supply systems. These rectifiers have harmonic currents to cause voltage distortion. Because troubles caused by harmonic current and voltage have become a serious social problem in recent years, a set of guidelines for suppressing harmonics has been formulated. Therefore we have developed a new type of high-performance rectifiers. The rectifier using a switching power supply unit can solve these problems with advanced power semiconductor technologies. They ensure 100% power factor and low total harmonic distortion by using the Pulse-Width-Modulation (PWM) as the power conversion method. The use of a high-frequency DC/DC converter ensures a low transient change in output voltage in a sudden change in the load. This paper presents a DC100V output power supply system using the switching power supply unit and their test data.
